Blue is a little flower bud who has not found a colour yet. In a garden full of bright petals and busy friends, Blue has a wonderfully open question: what might I become?
That is the heart of Blue’s backstory. A small character with room to grow, to notice, and to wonder. Blue’s name is a name, not a rule about which colour a child should choose.
We created Blue as Petadoodle’s first character: a friendly starting point for stories where children can explore a finished world, then bring their own ideas to it.

Curiosity comes first
Blue gives us a reason to look closely. A garden can hold a hundred little discoveries when we slow down enough to notice.
Try asking: “What did you notice first?”
Friends make room
Blue shares the garden with a frog, a bee, a snail, a ladybird and a butterfly. Different friends bring different ways of seeing the same world.
Try asking: “What might this friend notice?”
The last colours are theirs
Children can meet Blue in the story, then make a companion colouring page their own. They do not need to copy the finished artwork.
Try asking: “What colour would your Blue be?”

When the garden loses its colours, Blue and five friends set off to find them. Share the story, pause for a little conversation, then let your child explore the companion colouring activities.
